How do we save America?

Spacious hospital room with several empty beds and medical equipment, emphasizing healthcare and hygiene.

“Ever since Obamacare, healthcare prices have skyrocketed tremendously.”

Every time Washington tries to fix healthcare, they break it even more. Subsidizing healthcare doesn’t fix anything because the industry will just raise prices to adjust for the subsidies we throw at them. Contrary to a politician’s belief, throwing money at a problem doesn’t make it go away.

I will not extend Obamacare nor will I subscribe to any other government intervention in healthcare.

“I’m proud to be one of the few candidates in this race that has signed the U.S. Term Limits Pledge.”

Let’s be honest for a second: the median age in Congress is so old. It’s like that because we don’t have term limits on Congress that allow for officeholders to be rotated out by newer perspectives.

It’s hard for Congress to be corrupt if they’re having to change people every few years. This is a no-brainer solution… though I’m not sure why other candidates in this race haven’t joined me in this pledge.

“Privacy has been dead since the turn of the century, but now is the only chance we’ll have to save it.”

Georgians are furious with their rising power costs that are being used to fund large data centers in Rome and other places across the state. These data centers are used by companies like Flock Safety to store our information and compile profiles on our behavior. Being out in public does not give these companies the right to constantly surveil us.

I will vote in favor of a nationwide moratorium of datacenters as Congress looks at privacy protection laws.

“The system is broken, and that’s why we’re seeing so many undocumented crossings.”

Before the 20th century, the United States had open immigration which allowed people from all parts of Europe, Asia, and Latin America to come into the country to work and engage in commerce. Since then, we’ve created a system that was designed to break.

If we’re going to fix border security, it’s by addressing the root cause. Common sense immigration reform needs to be the priority for Washington.

Pile of US hundred dollar bills depicting financial success and wealth.

“Americans pay tariffs, not the other way around.”

Tariffs work at discouraging consumers from buying foreign-made products, but then we’re stuck buying more expensive products made here. If we’re going to bring jobs back to the United States, tariffs don’t do that.

Economists from all backgrounds — Keynesian, Austrian, and alike — agree that tariffs are economic constrictors that limit choice and break our wallets.

There is only one solution to the economy, and it’s the free market enterprise.
